Tsuwano Horseback Archery will be held on
April 10th (SUN)
Horseback archery is held on the second Sunday
in April every year.
Only Tsuwano Horseback Archery field preserves
original form of hundreds year ago.
You can see the ritual ceremony, which has been
passed down in Ogasawara School from generation to generation, at Washibara
Hachiman Shrine. Ogasawara School or Ogasawara-ryu specializes Samurai class's manner includes mounted archery.
It starts at 11:00 ～ and 14:00 ～ at Washibara Hachiman Shrine.
There are parking area at Nagomino-sato Roadside Station.
You can park your car in the downtown and ride a shuttle bus to Yabusame field.
